Pope St. Paul VI stated that the church exists in order to evangelize. God never intended for us to live alone or to evangelize alone. Jesus sent his disciples out in twos. We are His modern day disciples and need to learn how to minister in His name. When we minister we fulfill our baptismal call to do Jesus’ ministry.
