​There are many paths to Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Some people go through Life in the Spirit, Christ Life or other seminars, some go through retreats, some accept the fullness of grace of the the Holy Spirit at confirmation. Some receive the Holy Spirit alone in their living rooms. 

Through the joy experienced with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, we want to grow to be spiritually mature Christians. This requires prayer, solid catechesis, community, and time. Because each path may have a different emphasis on the journey to Baptism in the Holy Spirit, it’s essential to fill in those gaps as the journey continues to spiritual formation and integrated ecclesial maturity.

Charismatic Renewal, it must be said 
and repeated, is not an ecclesial movement. It is a current of grace that is meant to transform the Church -- preaching, the liturgy, personal prayer, Christian life.

So it is not a spirituality as such. The movements have a spirituality and 
emphasize a particular aspect, for example, charity. First of all, 
Charismatic Renewal does not have a founder. No one thinks of 
attributing a founder to Charismatic Renewal because it is something 
that started in many places in different ways. And it does not have a 
spirituality; it is Christian life lived in the Spirit.

I expect from you that you share with all, in the Church, the grace of Baptism in the Holy Spirit (expression that is read in the Acts of the Apostles).

I expect from you an evangelization with the Word of God which proclaims that Jesus is alive and loves all men.

I expect that you give witness of spiritual ecumenism with all those brothers and sisters of other Churches and Christian communities who believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior.

That you remain united in the love that the Lord Jesus asks of us for all men, and in the prayer to the Holy Spirit to come to this unity, necessary for evangelization in the name of Jesus.
