Deacon Darrell has been part of the Evangelization 2033 Vision since John Paul II and Fr. Tom Forrest introduced the vision in the 1990’s: The Vision: Create Schools of Evangelization that will make Christians into disciples on mission, realize that the Church already is one, holy, catholic and apostolic and take the gospel to everyone, especially the poor since “If you are not giving people God, you are not giving them enough!”
Deacon Darrell was ordained in 2003 by Bishop Walter Sullivan to work on this vision. Since his background in the US Air Force was Telecommunications he realized that media was the only way to reach the 1.2 billion Catholics and the 700 million other Christians with Pope John Paul II’s vision. In partnership with the USCCB and the Diocesan Ecumenical Commission of his diocese, he suggested that a formation series be filmed using Bro. Jeffrey Gros’s material “Handing on the Faith in an Ecumenical World.” Pentecostal theologians watched the project and embraced John Paul’s vision.
Pope Benedict XVI upped the anti by suggesting every baptized Christian needed to embrace the new media evangelization tools. During his Year of Faith, The Catholic Fraternity began the Awakening the Domestic Church concept and in 2014 the new ADC Project was launched in Virginia Beach Virginia with the help of Padre Raniero Cantalamessa, the preacher to the papal household.
On November 4, 2023 the project entered into the implementation phase after the Vatican’s Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life recognized the new CHARIS elected evangelistic team of servant leaders. The time has come for ALL spiritually mature Christians to become leaders in your neighborhoods and help your fellow citizens through the process of Conversion, Growth to Spiritual Maturity, Discipleship Internalization and Missionary Attitude. The ADC project is your media resource platform. We will provide you with the technology to evangelize your neighborhood into a Biblically Based Christian Community formed by God the Father (John 6:45) the way Jesus intended: one soul at a time through loving relationships as His Church!
If our Father is calling you to join this vision, your monthly commitment is only $25 which pays for all access to all material, formation classes, media tools, and future “Virtue Based Christian Sitcoms” that are being developed to evangelize the NONEs (those people who do not claim to be from any of the 7 Christian Streams).

What are we doing?
Awakening the Domestic Church is building a network of Restoration Minded Christians who have a vision for Neighborhood
based Christian Community that will change the cultures of the world into what God the Father intended. We need millions of
leaders, who share our vision, can lead a small group made up of Christians surrendered to the Spirit and who want to engage the gospel from their homes – their domestic churches. Are you one of these leaders?

WHY ADC?
It is important to recognize the signs of the times. It is also important to see what the Father is doing and bless it. Jesus only did
what He heard His Father tell Him. Jesus also said that our Father wants to be our teacher (John 6:45). Since as early as the
1700’s God the Father has been at work restoring His Son’s church into what He willed: a Church that is defined as being one,
holy, catholic, and apostolic. It’s members find their identity in Jesus as adopted sons of God and not in race, nationality, political
affinity, gender, or any other material identity. We are Christian, adopted children of the Father, the bride of Christ, the Body of
Christ, and dead to self. It is a hard vision that God the Father has created but it’s His vision not ours. The classical family – the
domestic church – is the foundation of every culture. It must be awakened to realize its necessity for the material world, but also
for the spiritual world as we mold our children to surrender to our Father’s plan for life and salvation. Join us!!

How to use adc!
First: Go to the FORMATION VIDEOS tab and watch the theological overview prepared by Cardinal Raniero Cantalamessa. Make certain you are spending time listening to the Father so he can guide you. He is very capable to teach you how to follow his directions..
Second: Watch the facilitators guide a couple of times and learn how to facilitate a home based group..
Third: Gather some friends from work, church, your neighborhood or family who have the same goal to restore your culture..
Fourth: When you have at least 6-8 people watch the Parish Leadership Formation Course. This will be from a Roman Catholic perspective, but other Christian traditions will benefit from our perspective and plan.
Fifth: If you want to proceed, name your group and sign up with us. We will then be able to give you ongoing formation and ministry opportunities with other groups.
