Restoration Pastors alliance
Who are we? Over the last few decades God has been opening doors very wide for a greater, Spirit led collaboration between Charismatic Catholics and Christians of other traditions who want to use the gifts of the Spirit to transform culture.. For example, Dr. Richard Roberts is a Christian Minister from England. He has been a co-leader in discussions between the Vatican and Charismatic Christians with the goal of establishing a grass roots working relationship among fellow ministers so the Holy Spirit’s full power can be made manifest in our cultures. One of his partners is Catholic deacon, Darrell Wentworth, in Virginia Beach. The two ministers have decided to form an alliance of renewal minded pastors to fulfill three primary goals.
- End the Lukewarm War! Every person who calls themself a Christian needs to fall passionately in love with God and RECEIVE His love. When a person surrenders to the Love of the Father, they are baptized (immersed in) His Holy Spirit. The fruit of this surrender is a life changing direction to becoming a disciple in deed not just in word.
- Forge relationships between Spirit surrendered Christians so they can align with one another in RELATIONSHIPS not institutions that help each other grow in accountability, spiritual maturity, and holiness without proselitizing the individual to another Christian Tradition.
- Present such a unity that together these Christians of various Spirit Surrendered traditions would evangelize through grass roots entertainment and social media developing relationships with lukewarm Christians and unbelievers leading them into a fully surrendered life in Christ.

Dr. Richard Robert's "Jesus Manifesto" talk, given as part of the Restoration Pastor's Alliance October ministry week in Hampton Roads, VA, is available for free viewing on CMAX.TV. The previous recording of "Unity in Diversity" is also available in the same place.
About Dr. Richard Roberts
Greetings,
My name is Dr. Richard Roberts and my focus is seeing the fulfilment of Jesus' prayer for unity in John 17. My wife, Norma, and I live in a small town called Beaminster, in the beautiful English county of Dorset. I enjoy fly fishing and playing guitar in a local band. Our three adult children have blessed our lives with six grandchildren so far, and they bring us great joy.
My calling is now to church leadership, but in my teens I had a clear call to Medicine. Initially I worked as a primary care physician in a deprived social housing area.
After additional training, I transitioned into the psychotherapy field. I earned an MA in Theological Studies and an MSc in Counseling. My most recent academia-based role was as Director of Studies for Missional Leadership (graduate level) for an interdenominational UK college of theology. I specialized in teaching Mission History, Leadership Studies, Postmodernity and Justice courses. I have developed academic training content on Biblical Interpretation, Self-awareness and Spiritual Leadership, Community and Conflict Resolution, Leadership Development and Spirituality.
My life experiences, personal and professional, have fostered a love for the needs of my brothers and sisters in different parts of the world. I enjoy meeting people right where they are to help them through strong, faith-based leadership, encouragement, and support. Within the New Charismatic Church network, my passionate focus has been found in rural church planting and mentoring church leaders in the UK and abroad. I also help with a variety of other projects necessary to further the Kingdom.
In retirement, I have dedicated my time to designing Spiritual Formation content at graduate level, documenting trends in charismatic movements, spiritual leadership coaching, growing the rural church network, and designing spiritually-led training content. I spend time traveling in the UK and abroad for speaking engagements. I can see the efforts of my work as the seeds God is planting through me grow with each step-in-faith that I take in His strength.
My affiliations are:
• Ffald-y-Brenin Christian Retreat Centre in West Wales (keynote speaker and trustee)
• Catholic Charismatic Renewal, The Gathering in the Holy Spirit conference (organizing committee)
• New Churches Group in official Conversations with The Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity (team leader)
• International Charismatic Consultation on World Evangelization (trustee)
• United States Charismatic Leaders Fellowship (steering committee)
